Japan Open Robocup Logistics Leagus 2024

The Robocup Japan Open 2024, held in Japan for the 19th time, is a significant event for both Japan and the global Robocup community. The competition has been organized since 2005 and features over 10 leagues, with more than 400 participants from Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and other countries. The competition follows the World Robocup 2023 Rulebook, and task assignments are distributed solely through a central server managed by Japanese Robocup trustees. This year marked the first time a Thai team won against international competitors in the event. The victory was achieved with a self-developed Thai robot, competing against teams that used commercial robots from leading companies in the Industrial Logistics League.

Robot Innovator Challenge 2023

A student from the Robotics and AI Engineering International Program (RAI), King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), was awarded the Royal Trophy and the Best Technical Award from the Robot Innovator Challenge 2023, an autonomous intelligent robot competition. The student also received recognition from the 12th World Invention Creativity Olympic (WICO).
